Welcome To My Blog

Thanks for checking the blog out... Hope it offers something a bit different every now & again. Though I come from a pseudo - Mod background (Soul & Ska in particular), I have a diverse taste in music & hope my varied posts will reflect this.

Cheers Skamanc .... I'm not after your undying gratitude, but please leave your thoughts, comments & opinions on the posts & content. I regularly up- & download material, plus buy and trade items. As such, if I have inadvertently "trodden on anyone's toes" in posting anything then please let me know & accept my apologies. Also please support the artists involved & remember that the blog is merely a pointer toward these various downloads, which are stored elsewhere. Legally, any downloads should not be retained for more than a week. So now I've told you the legal bit !

Talking Heads - 1975 CBS Demo's & Live (Amsterdam & Syracuse) 1977

Talking Heads are like marmite - ie provoke love or hate with no in between. I'm a big fan of their earlier material, talking of which... First up are the demo's they cut for CBS in 1975. These remained shelved, and it was not until 1977 that the band signed to Sire Records, who released their debut long player "Talking Heads 77". Some later well known tracks appear on here, and this is the full & complete 15 track demo file - I have seen several over the years with only several of these included. A well-booted 1977 gig from The Paradiso, Amsterdam is next, followed by another 1977 live outing, this time from the Jabberwocky, Syracuse, 26/1/77. http://rapidshare.com/files/361415524/TalkingHeads_Complete_CBS_Demos_1975.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/361261766/Talking_Heads_-_Amsterdam_77.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/361221654/TlkngHds-JbbrwckySyrcse26Jan1977.rar
