Excellent 1969 Stax LP by the fantastic Eddie Floyd, with the addition of bonus tracks, bolstering the track listing to 25 cuts.
This collection includes one of my all time favourite tunes, namely "Big Bird", written by Floyd as he sat @ Heathrow Airport, and intended as a tribute to Otis Redding, who, as we know, died in a plane crash.
Stax simply does not get better than this... wonderful backing by the MG's, great horn section & a fantastic call & response vocal. Track 17.....
