Welcome To My Blog
Thanks for checking the blog out... Hope it offers something a bit different every now & again. Though I come from a pseudo - Mod background (Soul & Ska in particular), I have a diverse taste in music & hope my varied posts will reflect this.
Cheers Skamanc .... I'm not after your undying gratitude, but please leave your thoughts, comments & opinions on the posts & content. I regularly up- & download material, plus buy and trade items. As such, if I have inadvertently "trodden on anyone's toes" in posting anything then please let me know & accept my apologies. Also please support the artists involved & remember that the blog is merely a pointer toward these various downloads, which are stored elsewhere. Legally, any downloads should not be retained for more than a week. So now I've told you the legal bit !

Help For Heroes Rideout, Essex July 2010
Date: Sunday, 11 July 2010
Time: 09:00 - 23:00
Location: Victoria Pub, Witham, Essex to Colchester Barracks
This is a fund raising event for the Royal Anglian Regiment. The Victorians Scooter Club is hosting the event and is the brainchild of our very own John Hickman. We will be met by Major David Casey, the station officer along with some army PR people and personnel from the chosen charities. ..
There will be four trophies given that have been kindly sponsored by Dave Cornish of Olympic Signs. .. After the run we will be entertained by the band 'Run For Cover' and Andy D spinning some tunes ..
There will also be a bar-b-q for the hungry and all this will take place back at the Vic .. (home of the Victorians) .. Club member Mick Murton is also sorting out pin badges for this event ... 'Rhino' Jay from Pissed and Confused bike club is also getting right behind the event and is proving to be a great asset ...
Everyone is welcome and urged to attend even if you can't make the ride, it would be great to see you all for the 'do' afterwards..
This event is for a very worthwhile cause as we all owe so much to our boys and girls that serve to protect our well-being and our country .. So please get on board for the 'Ride of our Lives'
