Welcome To My Blog

Thanks for checking the blog out... Hope it offers something a bit different every now & again. Though I come from a pseudo - Mod background (Soul & Ska in particular), I have a diverse taste in music & hope my varied posts will reflect this.

Cheers Skamanc .... I'm not after your undying gratitude, but please leave your thoughts, comments & opinions on the posts & content. I regularly up- & download material, plus buy and trade items. As such, if I have inadvertently "trodden on anyone's toes" in posting anything then please let me know & accept my apologies. Also please support the artists involved & remember that the blog is merely a pointer toward these various downloads, which are stored elsewhere. Legally, any downloads should not be retained for more than a week. So now I've told you the legal bit !

From The Jam : The Forum December 2007

Posted after several requests and courtesy of Paul of SE28. This is an MP3 file of From The Jam, Kentish Town Forum, December 2007. It's one long file (simply haven't got time to split it up via Audacity - don't let that stop you doing it!!), but well worth a download & listen. I'm not getting into the debate about post - Modern tribute acts with 2 original members (see elsewhere) - suffice it to day that here is a decent live recording of a very able outfit with some excellent tunes !! http://rapidshare.com/files/362589698/From_The_Jam_-_London_2007.rar PS Comments etc have tailed off again - keep 'em coming & I'll keep posting the sounds !!

  1. Lucky for me that I got to see The Jam on their last USA tour. When I heard that 2/3 of The Jam were playing again, it nearly brought tears to my eyes. Yes, The Jam meant that much to me. I have the live Ep that was released and I am wondering if this was taken from the same show. Anyways, I have yet to see From The Jam and I would love to as everyone that I have spoken to says that they have been brill. Again, thanks for making such a fantastic blog. I have some downloading work to do. Elvis Costello, some ska etc. Your blog is fantastic! Oh and I agree with the Cast Of Thousands post. Damn fine album!
