Thanks for checking the blog out... Hope it offers something a bit different every now & again. Though I come from a pseudo - Mod background (Soul & Ska in particular), I have a diverse taste in music & hope my varied posts will reflect this.

The '79 Mod Revival & Beyond Part (4) : Lambrettas, Chords & Merton Parkas...

These albums, from some of the bigger names of the 79 Revival have the distinction of all having reached the UK charts, along with several related singles.... The Merton Parkas featured future Style Councillor & Midnight Runner Mick Talbot, while the Lambrettas were signed to Elton John's Rocket label. (Maybe he fancied one of them...)
