Welcome To My Blog

Thanks for checking the blog out... Hope it offers something a bit different every now & again. Though I come from a pseudo - Mod background (Soul & Ska in particular), I have a diverse taste in music & hope my varied posts will reflect this.

Cheers Skamanc .... I'm not after your undying gratitude, but please leave your thoughts, comments & opinions on the posts & content. I regularly up- & download material, plus buy and trade items. As such, if I have inadvertently "trodden on anyone's toes" in posting anything then please let me know & accept my apologies. Also please support the artists involved & remember that the blog is merely a pointer toward these various downloads, which are stored elsewhere. Legally, any downloads should not be retained for more than a week. So now I've told you the legal bit !

Feel free to give me a shout : waltjabsco@hotmail.com

THE JAM : Brighton Centre 11/12/82 (Farewell Performance)

I roiginally posted this as a sharecode along with several others for Farewell Tour gigs in the early days of the blog. Brand new (working !!) sharecode posted 17/2/11.

All tracks labelled & presented in MP3 (ignore the FLAC details on the sleeve - too large to upload sensibly!!)
Thanks to Phil for sending me the artwork and, as always, respect to the original bootleggers.

Sadly no footage exists of this gig... Instead here's a couple of tracks from Paris. Both always meant a great deal to me, especially "But I'm Different Now"...

GOD... must just add one of my favourites..."Private Hell"...

& in conclusion, we'll employ a double negative & end with "Start"...  Can't get over the quality of the USA footage (1980) of "Start" & "...Hell"

  6. Thanks Skamanc, I downloaded this on behalf of two friends who are big Jam fans, but never saw them live. I did at least see them at the Roundhouse in 77 supporting the Stranglers and then there penultimate gig at GCH in 82.
    Thanks for posting and sharing.
