Welcome To My Blog

Thanks for checking the blog out... Hope it offers something a bit different every now & again. Though I come from a pseudo - Mod background (Soul & Ska in particular), I have a diverse taste in music & hope my varied posts will reflect this.

Cheers Skamanc .... I'm not after your undying gratitude, but please leave your thoughts, comments & opinions on the posts & content. I regularly up- & download material, plus buy and trade items. As such, if I have inadvertently "trodden on anyone's toes" in posting anything then please let me know & accept my apologies. Also please support the artists involved & remember that the blog is merely a pointer toward these various downloads, which are stored elsewhere. Legally, any downloads should not be retained for more than a week. So now I've told you the legal bit !

  1. A BIG Thanx once again.Unfortunatley there probably isn't many Chameleons fans out there.I have tried to convert as many friends as I could over the years, with about a 60% sucsess rate.

  2. I can't understand it Phil. Gigs I have been to like the Academy, Witchwood & Middleton Civic are heaving but then everyone seems to disappear again...

  3. Is it mainly a Northern thing,as they never seemed to go any further South than London.
I must have found them by chance,as Im from Portsmouth.
In some ways it is better that they never hit the big time.Obviously not for them though.

  4. I guess so, though they were popular in Europe. There's Dutch & Portugese TV (at least) clips in circulation...

  5. Hi, here's Vincent, I am french, and live in Normandie. For sure the Chameleons have fans in the South of London : me (and few others maybe)... I discovered them at the end of the 80' and follow them since, when they come back from time to time. But I never see the band live, no chance. Thanks for this blog !
