Welcome To My Blog

Thanks for checking the blog out... Hope it offers something a bit different every now & again. Though I come from a pseudo - Mod background (Soul & Ska in particular), I have a diverse taste in music & hope my varied posts will reflect this.

Cheers Skamanc .... I'm not after your undying gratitude, but please leave your thoughts, comments & opinions on the posts & content. I regularly up- & download material, plus buy and trade items. As such, if I have inadvertently "trodden on anyone's toes" in posting anything then please let me know & accept my apologies. Also please support the artists involved & remember that the blog is merely a pointer toward these various downloads, which are stored elsewhere. Legally, any downloads should not be retained for more than a week. So now I've told you the legal bit !

BAD MANNERS : Rare Live Clips (youtube)

I received a very interesting e-mail this afternoon - I have pasted it below... Many thanks to Steve for getting in touch with these links...

Hey love the blog, I was once for many years the drummer for bad manners, I have a ton of live footage, never heard or seen before.

I have been posting some of it to youtube, it’s great quality. Thought I would share some with you. Also I have a site

Here is a great recording with myself, but it features Winston Bazoomies the original harp player and Rico Rodriguez on trombone. This is 1993 in Stockton - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lniQp5HQVoE

  4. If you type in Hammers65 on youtube, I believe all my stuff comes up, including my kids. I live out in Kansas now, I actually toured with Bad Manners last year again for the first time in about 12 years, got the call at work one day, kind of like the Blues Brothers..."we're putting the band back together." we toured side by side with The English Beat, had a blast, tried to act 24 again and came unstuck a few times. There are photos on the http://www.badmannersontour.com from that tour, some great shots of the band. I have several more videos to load, one show is an Air Force base in Norwich. One good one that is mostly up now is The Troubadour from 1995. On bass is Dave Wiens from Let's Go Bowling out of Fresno California. Feel free to ask me any stuff about touring with the band, it was a fun time.
