Welcome To My Blog

Thanks for checking the blog out... Hope it offers something a bit different every now & again. Though I come from a pseudo - Mod background (Soul & Ska in particular), I have a diverse taste in music & hope my varied posts will reflect this.

Cheers Skamanc .... I'm not after your undying gratitude, but please leave your thoughts, comments & opinions on the posts & content. I regularly up- & download material, plus buy and trade items. As such, if I have inadvertently "trodden on anyone's toes" in posting anything then please let me know & accept my apologies. Also please support the artists involved & remember that the blog is merely a pointer toward these various downloads, which are stored elsewhere. Legally, any downloads should not be retained for more than a week. So now I've told you the legal bit !

Good news & bad news...

OK, what d'you want first ?

Well, the good news is that I've loads of great material & posts lined up for the coming weeks... (Happy Easter by the way !)

The bad is that it's month end, the phone / broadband bill is due & there may be a temporary interruption in my blogging activities should the good folk at Virgin decided to cut off my connection (again). (sounds painful eh ??)

Mrs Skamanc & the kids are going away for a month (family emergency) on Easter Monday, so there'll be even less pennies in the kitty. Typical - just as I get more time & space as well...

Please keep visiting the blog though - any interruption will only (AND hopefully) be temporary...

All the best, Skamanc.

PS Many thanks for all the messages & e-mails. Keep them coming !!

  6. I ain't going anywhere lads - don't fancy a month in Africa to be honest, even if I could manage to go.

Sod all quality of life just now - will remain so until I'm working again.

That's why the blog is so important - gives me the discipline of having something valuable to do with an end result.

    Sad ain't I ??
