Welcome To My Blog

Thanks for checking the blog out... Hope it offers something a bit different every now & again. Though I come from a pseudo - Mod background (Soul & Ska in particular), I have a diverse taste in music & hope my varied posts will reflect this.

Cheers Skamanc .... I'm not after your undying gratitude, but please leave your thoughts, comments & opinions on the posts & content. I regularly up- & download material, plus buy and trade items. As such, if I have inadvertently "trodden on anyone's toes" in posting anything then please let me know & accept my apologies. Also please support the artists involved & remember that the blog is merely a pointer toward these various downloads, which are stored elsewhere. Legally, any downloads should not be retained for more than a week. So now I've told you the legal bit !

THE STRANGLERS : Berkeley CA, 13/11/80 (FM)

LINK NOW FIXED - DOWNLOAD AVAILABLE... DO NOT MISS THIS ONE !!

Another excellent Stranglers show, this time from Berkeley, California, 13/11/80. FM quality, though reportedly never broadcast. This also has the keyboards unusually high in the mix & is well worth a listen. Thanks to Sparks & Dave Sez.

  1. Hello, linking to anonym site when clicking on the link to download as opposed to being redirected to rapidshare?

Keep up the excellent work from a fellow blue/Prisoners fan!

  3. Good man, thanks for that. Can't be too many Medway/City fans around (who alos love the Stranglers) eh?! Speaking of which, the Triple Distilled download included 'The Man Who Came Back' is this a Prisoner's track? If so, can you tell me anything about it because I've never come across it before.

  4. Yeah... a pretty unique combination isn't it ? The track in question isn't by The Prisoners, but a Graham day B side, as a few were tacked on to the download as they don't appear anywhere else.
