Here we have one of the classic debut albums of all time, Searching For The Young Soul Rebels" (1980). Remastered and reissued last year, with a 2nd disc of extras, some familiar & some not. This bonus disc features various non album B sides, Peel & other Radio Sesison tracks, plus EMI Manchester Square demos.
I've spent the evening converting a huge FLAC file to MP3, then splitting the tyracks into the 2x cds as intended. I've been listening as I've been working & this material remains marvellous, evocative stuff that I strongly advise you to download NOW. Kevin Rowland remains a unique, maverick oddball (and quite possibly a nutter too), though also a GENIUS.
Dedicated to my mate Calvin Bailey.
