BUZZCOCKS, SEX PISTOLS & THE CLASH : Screen On The Green 29/8/76


Just imagine...a quid to watch this little lot. Okay, its almost 35 years ago & I don't know what inflation has done to that pound but what a line up.

I'd just like to dedicate this post to blog friend & contributor Martin Smith. This is an essential piece of Punk history that needs to be downloaded & saved NOW.

I had the 'cocks & Pistols sets on the HDD for years but have only just got round to looking for the Pistols set plus bits of artwork. Anyway its all here now so enjoy & please leave a comment or two.

More than enough blogs have called it a day recently... (Sonchey's Life in Monochrome & Bud's Staring At the Rudeboys are two that'll be sadly missed) & I would hate mine or Gobshyte's (Mondo des Meubles) to be the next one down due to an apparent lack of interest / recognition.

    Amazing post mate,this is one of the seminal moments in punk,brilliant you got all 3 sets together,£1 to get in is mind blowing when you look at the line up! best post of 2011 and were only in February................ punx not dead
