Thanks for checking the blog out... Hope it offers something a bit different every now & again. Though I come from a pseudo - Mod background (Soul & Ska in particular), I have a diverse taste in music & hope my varied posts will reflect this.

John's Children... pop - art psychedelia ?

Best remembered these days for having a young Marc Bolan (briefly) in their ranks, a support slot on The Who's 1967 German Tour & a BBC ban, John's Children were at the cusp of mod pop-art and psychedelia.
These two downloads ("Smashed Blocked" and "Jagged Time Lapse") collect most of their recorded output and offer a good overview of the group. Some titles are duplicated between the two downloads, though several alternate versions of certain tracks exist...
