Welcome To My Blog

Thanks for checking the blog out... Hope it offers something a bit different every now & again. Though I come from a pseudo - Mod background (Soul & Ska in particular), I have a diverse taste in music & hope my varied posts will reflect this.

Cheers Skamanc .... I'm not after your undying gratitude, but please leave your thoughts, comments & opinions on the posts & content. I regularly up- & download material, plus buy and trade items. As such, if I have inadvertently "trodden on anyone's toes" in posting anything then please let me know & accept my apologies. Also please support the artists involved & remember that the blog is merely a pointer toward these various downloads, which are stored elsewhere. Legally, any downloads should not be retained for more than a week. So now I've told you the legal bit !

THE BANDITS : St George Hotel, Chatham, 6/11/92

Not to be confused with the Scots band on Creation Records (The BMX Bandits), this is a rarity by the lesser known Medway outfit The Bandits. this was sent in by courtesy of Jonny, who, I'm sure, would appreciate some comments.

  1. Enjoy folks! ... For you heathens that don't know yer Medway history... The Bandits (Johnny Barker/Glenn Prangnell/Allan Crockford/Wolf Howard) were originally known as Johnny Barkers Bandits (check the Medway Powerhouse compilations to hear a couple of tracks) & later became Goodchilde who released a couple of LP's in the early to mid 90's & then of course The Kravin' A's a few years later..... The track 'Count on Me' was released by Glenn Prangnells latest outfit Groovy Uncle in 2011...quite nice to hear a version done nearly 20yrs earlier on this bootleg!
