Welcome To My Blog

Thanks for checking the blog out... Hope it offers something a bit different every now & again. Though I come from a pseudo - Mod background (Soul & Ska in particular), I have a diverse taste in music & hope my varied posts will reflect this.

Cheers Skamanc .... I'm not after your undying gratitude, but please leave your thoughts, comments & opinions on the posts & content. I regularly up- & download material, plus buy and trade items. As such, if I have inadvertently "trodden on anyone's toes" in posting anything then please let me know & accept my apologies. Also please support the artists involved & remember that the blog is merely a pointer toward these various downloads, which are stored elsewhere. Legally, any downloads should not be retained for more than a week. So now I've told you the legal bit !

Up Yours Taggart No 13...

Regular visitors will have seen previous "Up Yours Taggarts"... this commemorative edition is re-allocated No 13, as it is the time (in seconds) that the Rags thought they were Champions this afternoon...Unlucky for some, not so unlucky for others !!!

Better luck next time Taggart...

Dedicated to our last title - winning side from 1968. Three players (Neil Young, Mike Doyle & George Heslop), plus trainer Dave Ewing are no longer with us. Likewise Managers Joe Mercer & Malcolm Allison. Great to see Mrs Mercer at the game, plus Franny Lee, Mike Summerbee & Tony "Skip" Book.

  6. Only City can leave it until added time to win the title. Despair to joy in under two minutes. Just fantastic. Still getting my breath back. My 8 year old is the happiest boy at school this morning.

  7. What a Sunday, for your good self and for football. The old order has been changed at long last, so keep it up and lets see you go for Europe.
And lets see Barton go for therapy, he looked as if he wanted to take the whole team on, an elbow here a kick there and then a head butt, your old muckers would have sent him to the dressing room, and him unaware of what day it was ?
    Cheers,
    Niall

  8. I notice he didn't have a go at Nigel De Jong... that would have been interesting though a very quick "fight"...

  9. Taggart will return next season poor United side lose out to a good city side on goal difference. If we hadn't let city put 6 past us and blue scouscers everton 4 then we'd have had a better chance on the last day or before nonetheless you were the best team all season well done great for the neutral
