Thanks for checking the blog out... Hope it offers something a bit different every now & again. Though I come from a pseudo - Mod background (Soul & Ska in particular), I have a diverse taste in music & hope my varied posts will reflect this.
Cheers Skamanc .... I'm not after your undying gratitude, but please leave your thoughts, comments & opinions on the posts & content. I regularly up- & download material, plus buy and trade items. As such, if I have inadvertently "trodden on anyone's toes" in posting anything then please let me know & accept my apologies. Also please support the artists involved & remember that the blog is merely a pointer toward these various downloads, which are stored elsewhere. Legally, any downloads should not be retained for more than a week. So now I've told you the legal bit !

THE PRISONERS : Berlin 1985 (Mixing Desk Tape)
Welcome to June & what a post to kick off the month...
Mixing Desk quality tape from Berlin, 1985. The usual heartfelt thanks to Rodd from Oz!
After a month offline, what a cracking post to come back to. Look forward to giving it a listen (once the 5 mins waiting time with Rapidshare is up...)
Time to plunder the archives from the last month :)
And now having flicked through the tracks, I find it's one that I have and was going to clean up and send to you later! The version I have also has Melanie, Be On Your Way, Night of the Nazgul and I Am The Fisherman and is dated '86 rather than '85. These last few tracks may be from a different gig though, the sound quality is different (but on 25 year old cassettes, shit happens).
I'll get it de-hissed/EQ'd and posted once I've had a chance to get some real work done and make some money!
You do that TC. Any additional posts will be fantastic. As far as track listings and dates go - that's what was on the tape covers when I bought em back in the 80's!!! Maybe wrong, maybe right??? Enjoy regards Rod in Oz.
awesome stuff, just been directed to your blog from another site...what a brilliant little find...so much Prisoners stuff to get, that's going to keep me busy for a while.....great to be able to hear new Prisoners stuff after 25 years...keep up the good work. All the best Graeme

Thanks to all. Like I've posted before, I'm just privileged to be able to distribute Rodd & TCs' files a bit further and to enjoy the tracks myself.
