Dedicated to my beloved Club. For all Blues and every player from the 1969 & 2011 Cup Winning Teams. I saw Tony Book (69 Captain, later Manager & current Club President... bottom pic holding the Cup...) by Sale Tesco yesterday morning. A genuine unspoken moment - he spotted my shirt, beamed & we shook hands.
Special mention for the late Neil Young (goalscorer from 1969).
Also for Ska Fan Cheryl Parker - who is singlehandedly keeping the City flame going in North Carolina.
Well done!!
ReplyDeleteA bit of Italy as well in the City... Roberto Mancini deserve this success. May be not so much Balotelli, he is so talented but so stupid...
Thanks Nicola. Agreed re Mancini - successful season even if his tactics are rather negative at times.
ReplyDeleteBalotelli ? We'll see... he played a blinder last week & was rightly voted Man of The Match. Hope he's maturing a bit - he didn't react to an elbow in the face in the 14th minute & worked hard for the team throughout the game.
Please don't let me down now 've posted this Mario !!
More Medway to come Nicola - also the Galileo 7 are playing in Italy later this month !! Check their site for dates & venues...
Yes I know about the Galileo 7 but they play approx 100 km from where I live and with a 14days(!) old daughter I think I will pass on the G7. I do not want to upset my wife too much.
ReplyDeleteLife has been very very busy in the last 3weeks....ciao
That's a reasonable excuse Nicola. Congratulations on the birth of your daughter by the way. My family will be growing later this year - we are adopting my nephew Sean, as his Father died last Christmas. That will make it 3 sons...
